This is a Trade-only website.

Once you've created an account on the website you can log on and bid on vehicles or add your own vehicles to auction.

We will need to hold a current credit or debit card on your record. Until this is attached to your account you will be unable to log on and view details of vehicle auctions.

Auctions

When bidding on a vehicle, you add the maximum amount that you are prepared to bid on the vehicle. The starting bid is always £100. But you may be happy to bid up to £1000 - so you enter that. But the opening and winning bid will be £100.

Another bidder may come along and be prepared to bid £800 on the vehicle. This will increase the current bid price to £900. (Their £800 bid, and then a subsequent £100 bid from you. You are still within your limit of £1000).

This continues in £100 increments until the reserve is met on the vehicle (assuming one is set). After that point bidding will increase in £50 increments.

If another bidder comes along and decides £1,500 is their maximum bid. Immediately the bidding will increase to £1,100 - and this new bidder is the winning bidder at £1,100. Your maximum bid of £1,000 has been beaten. You will receive an email telling you.

You can increase your maximum bid at any point - just enter a new value - the current bid will not be affected - just your maximum.

Once you bid - that bid is binding.

Auction complete

Once the auction is over the winning bidder - and vehicle owner - are notified by email. If you are the winning bidder your stored card will be debited the auction fee. In early 2020 new payment security came into place across the banking industry - this means that your card may not get debited until you authorise it. You will receive an email if this is the case - and you will need to follow the link and authorise your card as soon as possible. 

Account details

If you need to update contact details - or your card details... use the My Account menu option. Here you can update all those settings - and review previous auctions and invoices. You also dd your own vehicles into auctions here.
